Milo – Milo takes Baths

Milo the Mustache. That name change would be the only way I would like this guy more. Humble persona, intricate raps, and a mustache that would have Bert Reynolds feelin’ self-conscious. Recently this rapsmith dropped a 7-track mixtape, “Milo takes Baths”, which was produced entirely by Baths. For a while, this project was in the Top 5 Best Selling albums on Bandcamp, so props to him on that. Take a listen below (also check his “home video”):

Taylor McFerrin: Fresh Stuff

Heres a dope video interview I came across that features producer/beatboxer and former Minneapolis resident Taylor McFerrin. McFerrin’s music like much of his Brainfeeder labelmates, can’t really be boxed into one genre, but I’ll call it futuristic soul with an emphasis on rhythm.
